The Eureka Skydeck was a must after finishing my trip of Melbourne. It’s centrally located and not expensive at the equivalent of about £13. It is around 300m high and offers 360-degree, floor-to-ceiling views of the surrounding area. If you prefer a closer look at some of the landmarks, you can use one of the many viewfinders around the Skydeck. It was the perfect day to go up, as it was clear, and the views were obviously much better in these conditions.
If you are feeling daring, you can go out on the “Edge”, which is a glass cube that suspends you from the 88th floor. I didn’t do this, as it was an extra charge, so unfortunately I can’t comment on whether it was worth the experience or not!
