My first morning in Hong Kong was spent visiting the famous Victoria Peak Tram that is a funicular railway and transports people to the higher levels of Hong Kong Island. This is the most popular attraction on the island and has great views of the HK skyline and Harbour from the top. The 7-minute rise to the top is extremely steep, but well worth the trip, and the 360-degree viewing deck (Sky Terrace 428) at the top is the perfect spot for taking some great photos. Once at the top, you can also stroll around the Peak Galleria leisure and shopping complex. I found a lovely café at the top that overlooked the tram and skyline and was lucky enough to be able to grab an outside table in the perfect position!
