After a memorable trip to the Peak Tram, I made my way to HK Central and then walked along by the harbour. I loved the experience of arriving in Central HK in the afternoon and then gradually watching the light of the day disappear and the whole area begin to come to life with an array of twinkling lights against the black sky. I also managed to book a trip on a traditional junk boat to do an evening cruise out in the harbour for the Symphony of Lights show that is displayed every evening at 8 pm. This laser show was beautiful and, even though it only lasted for about ten minutes, it seemed a lot longer. Definitely worth experiencing if you take a trip to HK Island.
