Another great trip in Jasper was to Maligne Canyon, which is the deepest canyon in Jasper National Park and perfect for hikers of all abilities. The canyon area had several bridges linking everything together and allowed for a seamless hike around the National Park that took in an array of fantastic waterfalls, fossils, and rock formations. As we moved around the Canyon, the river began to widen, and this is where the waterfalls become more and more spectacular. Pine forests lined the edge of the water and snow-capped mountains could be seen in the distance that all helped to paint a magnificent picture. This was certainly a great place for photos and videos so that you could appreciate all the waterfalls and treasure the memories for years to come. After all that hiking, refreshments were certainly required, and we needed to look no further than the lovely Maligne Canyon Wilderness Kitchen that had a little souvenir shop and some tables outside with fire pits to enjoy the scenery – well worth a visit!
