My final day in Hong Kong was spent visiting the bright lights of Kowloon. So, it was back on the MTR. Kowloon, which is in the northern part of Hong Kong, is just across from Victoria Harbour and so enabled me to look over to Hong Kong Island and see it from a different angle. Kowloon is full of big, flashy company offices, hotels and superb shopping malls. In fact, I saw some beautiful apartments built within a shopping mall complex, so you hadn’t got far to stroll if you fancied a drink, a bite to eat, or a spot of retail therapy. I really enjoyed my time in Hong Kong, as it is well organised, full of culture, and easy to get around – perfect for the first-time tourist!
