Today I was due to fly back to the UK and was luckily ok to fly. Unfortunately, due to my accident, as I wasn’t due to fly home until later in the day, I missed out on a trip I was hoping to do which was to go up to see the Holmenkollen Ski Jump and Museum. You can apparently get some great 360-degree panoramic views of Oslo city, the fjords, and the forest area from the top. There is also a café and ski simulator there. So, if anyone has been there or goes, please let me know about your experiences.
There are one or two museums to visit in Oslo, too, including the top rated Fram Museum, which may well be worth a visit, and you can even bathe in the fjord and take a sauna. It is always difficult, as I have said so many times, to fit everything into one visit to a country – so this is all the more reason why you need to go back to these places again in the future…
