Sydney is a great city, and I did a little guided tour around that included a visit to the North Sydney Olympic Pool by the Harbour Bridge, the famous Bondi Beach, and the Sydney Tower Eye. I was also lucky enough to be walking in the centre of Sydney one evening just as the countdown to the Christmas light switch-on was happening. Sydney is also great for shopping, as there are lots of designer fashion and handcrafted jewellery shops. There are also several multi-storey shopping malls, numerous small shops, and some historic arcades and markets.
